The Angkor National Museum is a simple and easy activity that anyone can enjoy. You just need to buy a ticket, enter the museum, and explore the galleries. You can choose from the following options:

  • Self-guided tour: This is the standard option that allows you to visit the museum at your own pace and interest. You can use the audio guide that is available at the entrance in Khmer, English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai languages. You can also use the interactive exhibits and touch screens that provide additional information and explanations. The price is $12 USD per person, and the museum is open from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

  • Guided tour: This is the premium option that allows you to visit the museum with a professional guide who will explain the history and significance of the artifacts and the galleries. You can also ask questions and interact with the guide. The price is $25 USD per person, and the guided tours are available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

How to get there

The Angkor National Museum is located at No.968 Vithei Charles de Gaulle, Khrum 6, Phoum Salakanseng, Siem Reap. It is about 4 km from the city centre. You can easily get there by tuk-tuk, taxi, or bike. The journey takes about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the traffic and the mode of transportation.
